Munich to Neuschwanstein Tour

Your guide picks you up early to get a head start. There is a separate driver with a car or van, depending on group size. The drive to Neuschwanstein is about an hour and a half to two hours. We preorder the tickets so you have guaranteed entry, subject to availability. Before starting your tour of the castle, your guide takes you to a special place where you can take great pictures of Neuschwanstein.

After the Neuschwanstein tour, we head into Oberammergau, a most picturesque villa on the foot of the Alps. You can have lunch (price not included) and do some shopping. A little further is Ettal Abbey. This Benedictine monastery was founded in 1330 and today is a major attraction for visitors. You may want to try one of the beers brewed at the monastery (price not included). On the way back to Munich, we stop briefly at Wieskirch, a baroque Pilgramage Church that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We have you back in Munich in the evening after this full-day Bavarian history tour.

If there are more than six people in your group, please contact us for a quote on a bus tour.
